Wisdom Extraction (First Installment)

Went out at 9+ this morning, make my way to Alexandre Hospital. For what? For the extraction of my wisdom tooth(1st installment).

They asked which side i wanna to extract first, so i say the left side consisting of 2 wisdom tooth and 1 extra tooth, total 3 teeth to be extracted. They took my blood pressure then asked me to wait as they prepare the "tools".

I laid on the "operation table", had myself covered with blanket up to my shoulder level. They then covered my face using a cloth with a hole in the middle, exposing my mouth only. The doctor then injects multiple, and i mean MULTIPLES, of anesthetic on the respective gum where the tooth needs to be extracted. Injected on the front, back, sides of the gums. And then left me alone for around 5 - 10 mins or so for the anesthesia to flow around the gums.

The doctor came back and began the operation. And although i cant feel what she is doing to my teeth, i can freaking hear very clearly. I heard sounds of knife scraping, drill drilling and "plier twisting & turning violently" and that few moments took eternity. The sounds is actually quite frightening, i wished they could also sound proof my ears with plugs. After some drilling and twisting & turning, i knew i tasted blood, the iron taste in my mouth that I'm swallowing.

After some time that i don't know how long, the battle was finally over. My blood pressure was once again taken and the nurse filled me in on what is and not supposed to be done in the next couple of days.

Will be back at Alexandre Hospital next Monday to remove the stitch and on the 18th Feb for the 2nd installment of extraction, which is my right side. World War II in the waiting. Have to make do with porridge, congee, vermicelli, beancurd and stuffs like these for the next 2 days i guess. Com'on! Let it heal rapidly, i wan to eat Ba Gua!!
