The KL trip

Back from KL. Tiring but fruitful trip. Didn't bought any thing much though.

Friday - Day 1

Met the lads at 830am, went to imm for breakfast. Left for 2nd link at roughly 930am.
We dropped by melaka for lunch 1st at Jonkers Walk. Had some chicken rice balls and roasted meats. After which, we proceed on to KL. Check into the hotel, Royal Bintang, and left for dinner. We decided to go to Chinatown for a walk and have our dinner settled there as well. You can find lots of fake branded bags and wallets there. From LV to even miu miu! Even fakes tiffany & co. and mont blanc. However, we missed out on the famous cooling longan drink as it was already sold out when we got there. Then we decided to take away some gui ling gao and have night snack in the hotel.

Saturday - Day 2

Woke up at in the early morning (at least early to me), then proceeded to Petronas Twin Tower to queue for the ticket to the Skybridge Visit. Luckily we managed to get hold of the tickets as they only issue around 1500 tickets daily. Our visiting time for the Skybridge is at 4.45pm and we decided to have our breakfast at KLCC (Situated just below the Petronas Twin Tower) 1st and travel to Midvalley Megamall to walk around then to a newly setup shopping centre next to it called The Gardens. Had lunch at Canton-i, a hongkong cafe. Then proceed back to KLCC for the Skybridge Visit. Next off, we head to Sunway Pyramid (Within close proximity to Sunway Lagoon) to walk again and have our dinner there. Had A&W for dinner! Haha! Its been a long time since i last had A&W, the rootbeer float, the curly fries, too bad i was too filled that i give the waffle a miss. Then we travelled back to Chinatown to get some supper, Malaysia's style Char Kway Tiao and another serving of gui ling gao, we also got to get our hands on the famous longan drink! And headed back to hotel for our supper.

Sunday - Day 3

Woke up slightly later at 10.30am and prepare for check out. Checked out at 12pm and wander off to Pavillion KL for lunch before heading back to Singapore. Had lunch at Madam Kwan's. Then headed back to Singapore with stops in between for toilet breaks and shopping for local delights at Yong Peng. Arrived back at SG at roughly 7.30pm, headed to east coast for dinner and here i am! Home sweet home.

AAR (After Action Review) for KL trip: It was a fruitful trip as we're able to travel and stop at quite a number of shopping centres within a short span of time. But overall, it was quite a budget getaway. Spending less than SGD $2oo on the whole trip including hotel expenses! Cool!
